Acts as expert witness in criminal, personal injury, child care and medical negligence cases in the areas of non-accidental injury in children, head and spinal injury, paediatric neuro-oncology, birth-related injury/cerebral palsy and diagnostic MRI of the brain and spine. Has produced over 400 court reports in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Hong Kong and elsewhere. Has given oral evidence in court on over 30 occasions.
Has attended conferences and courses concerning medico-legal report writing, giving expert medical evidence in court, the CPR compliant expert and Clinical Negligence in the NHS. Is a member of the Academy of Experts and listed in the NHS Litigation Authority Register of Expert Witnesses.
