Medico Legal Experience

I have obtained my Bachelor of Science and Medical Degree from the American University
of Beirut Lebanon and graduated in 1977.

I have completed my Orthopaedic Training at the American University of Beirut Hospital
which is a referral centre for the whole of the Middle East with an established reputation for
excellence in the area. This University and its Hospital were established in the Lebanon at
the beginning of this Century and was run until recently by American Teachers and Doctors
and attracts students from all over the Middle East.

I finished my Orthopaedic Training in 1980 andjoined the Institute of Orthopaedics at the
Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Hospital at Oswestry and my training included a rotation in
Shrewsbury, Oswestry and Stoke on Trent.
On completion of my Orthopaedic training I returned to the Lebanon for a few years as a
practising Orthopaedic Surgeon. Because of the Civil War I returned to the UK and
completed further training in Orthopaedics.

I am a Fellow ofthe Royal College of Surgeons of England and also a Fellow of the Royal
College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

I am also a Fellow of the British Orthopaedic
Association.

My recent practice was at the North Staffordshire Hospital until I was promoted to a
Consultant post at Staffordshire General Hospital, which commenced November 1995.
